What is Affirmation?
Affirmations are sentences aimed at affecting the conscious and the subconscious mind. They affect our behaviour, thinking patterns, habits, and environment. Affirmations are really simple, brief, but powerful expressions. When you say, think, or even hear them, they become thoughts that create reality.

The words composing the Affirmation, automatically and involuntarily, bring up related mental images in the mind, which inspire, energize and motivate. Thus, the affirmations and the resultant mental images get engraved on the subconscious mind, which changes the behaviour, habits, actions, and reactions according to the repeated words.
Affirmations can be handy tools that assist in re-contextualizing how we see the world and, essentially, the way of being in the world. When we use affirmations effectively, along with other good supportive practices like nutrition, regular exercise and deepening our awareness through awareness-based exercises like yoga, mindfulness or meditation, affirmations can support oneself; for rapid and successful change.
Benefits of Affirmation
- Positive affirmations re-contextualize our reality and lift our life force.
- Emotionally repeating the affirmations daily, we can release self-doubt and thin out the negative thoughts and attitudes.
- Affirmations motivate & keep our minds focused on the goals. They change how we think and behave to connect us with people who help with our goals.
- Make us feel positive, energetic and active, putting ourselves in a better position to transform our inner and external worlds.

How to use Affirmation?
Basic Formula
Consistency is critical, twice a day, before falling asleep at night and after waking up in the morning. It would be best to repeat them daily for 30 days, simultaneously focusing on one or two Affirmation Goals.
Tips:
- Monitor your mood first.
- Before starting your daily session, take 30 seconds to “look inside” yourself, see how you feel, see your emotions, and if you already feel positive, negative, and a little tired.. take note.
- Say your affirmations slowly, emotionally, take your time, and do a “mood check” again.
- Start with a focus on one or two subjects.
- Don’t jump into many subjects at once!
- Be consistent. Repeat them daily.
- Commit to doing them for 30 days, no matter what.
Why…?
Starting in the morning can ensure you have a positive start to the day — that the first things you start thinking about are your goals and ambitions, and of course, that you are thinking positive thoughts!
Ending your day with Affirmations before going to bed can ensure that you have positive thoughts in your mind as you go to sleep; you are thinking about your goals, which will seep into your subconscious mind and solidify as you sleep.
It depends on you to say how many times you want, but recommendations are 5-minute sessions or saying your whole set of affirmations 10x each in a slow, confident voice.
This simple experiment shows you how they can instantly lift your mood and change how you are feeling. Therefore, it inspires you to keep going so that you can see the more prominent and lasting changes you want!
